How to fix the error where WordPress asks for FTP credentials

Nowadays wordpress improve lot of security options. But some times it cause wordpress beginners.

Here i provide solution for some common issue. One of the big issue is when you upload theme or plugins, wordpress ask to enter Host Name & FTP Username and FTP Password. 

But the settings not worked sometime, when you enter correct username & password.

It happened some times because of Folder Permission.

Here your solution. Just add a Single line code in wp-config.php.

  1. Open wp-config.php (Location: /var/www/html/wp-config.php)
  2. Add the following line in your wp-config file. 
define('FS_METHOD', 'direct');

Now you can upload new theme or plugin via wordpress Admin panel.
